State and Local Review and Permitting

The proposed Wild Horse Reservoir Project is currently in the planning and pre-permitting phase. In addition to federal permitting requirements, the Wild Horse Reservoir Project would also require several state and local government permits. More information will be provided as it becomes available.

State Review

State review could include, but may not be limited to:

• State dam safety permit
• Fish and wildlife mitigation plans
• Dredge and fill permit
• Highway crossing permits

Local Review

Local review could include, but may not be limited to:

• Park County 1041 permit
• Park County rezoning
• Park County road realignment and improvements for County Road (CR) 53
