Recreation at Wild Horse Reservoir

Aurora Water recognizes the importance of recreation at the proposed project site. We are exploring potential activities—such as fishing, boating, and wildlife viewing—that would complement existing amenities at nearby reservoirs and would be compatible with reservoir operations.

Working in partnership with Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Aurora Water is developing a draft recreational plan that identifies appropriate and sustainable uses for the site. While final recreation opportunities will depend on that process and partnerships with managing agencies, public input will play a key role in shaping the plan.
