Aurora Water is committed to engaging and working with Park County, the South Park area, and the local Hartsel community to ensure open communication and collaborative planning regarding the proposed Wild Horse Reservoir Project. To facilitate additional opportunities for the South Park community to ask questions and get updates on the project, Aurora Water regularly engages the South Park community both in-person with events and via email newsletters.

Lunch and Learn – February 27

Please come out and join us for our next Wild Horse Reservoir Project Lunch and Learn on February 27, 2026, from 12-2 pm at the Hartsel Fire Station (131 Elm Street, Hartsel, CO).

This Lunch and Learn will feature a presentation with updates from Aurora Water staff regarding the Wild Horse Reservoir Project, including:

  • Evaluations of alternative locations
  • Permitting and approval processes
  • Proposed path forward

The presentation will begin at 12:15 pm on February 27, 2026.

Lunch and drinks will be provided by Aurora Water. We look forward to seeing you there!

Virtual Presentation – February 25

Thank you to everyone who has contacted us about the possibility of hosting one of our events in the evening. For those unable to join us for our in-person events, please join us for a virtual Wild Horse Reservoir Project Update Presentation at 7 pm (MT) on February 25, 2026.

A link to the virtual event on Microsoft Teams will be sent to registrants a couple days prior to the event.

Hartsel Days

Aurora Water was honored to participate in Hartsel Days 2025. Thanks to everyone who came out and visited our tent. We are looking forward to coming again next year for Hartsel Days 2026!
