Water projects in Colorado—including the proposed Wild Horse Reservoir Project—are subject to a variety of federal, state, and local environmental reviews and approvals that evaluate the potential effects of a project. As the proposed project progressed from concept to permitting, Aurora Water has made adjustments to help minimize or avoid environmental impacts.
